Kathryn Blaisdell is the visionary behind her namesake salon. Kathryn is a dedicated stylist who finds inspiration in the human connection and the sense of community that surrounds her. With a deep passion for her craft, she specializes in providing top-quality hair care including, coloring, dry cutting, extensions, hair thinning solutions, education and more.
Integrity and transparency have always been at the core of Kathryn’s approach to her work. These values guide her in both the services she offers and the choice of companies she partners with, ensuring that every product and technique she uses aligns with her commitment to quality and honesty.
Kathryn’s approach goes beyond just enhancing outer beauty; she believes in creating a genuine bond with each person who sits in her chair. Her joy comes from making others feel seen, heard, and confident, helping them step back into the world feeling their best.
When Kathryn isn’t working with clients, she loves spending her time at her home on the seacoast with her husband, beloved German shepherd Tulip, gardening, and enjoying moments with her family. Her love for cultivating beauty, both in her garden and in her relationships, reflects her dedication to creating a nurturing environment for all who cross her path.
With over 14 years of experience in the hair industry, I’m passionate about helping my clients look and feel their absolute best. After starting my career at Sabeha in Portsmouth and spending five years as a master stylist and manager at Posh Hair Studio in NYC, I returned to the Seacoast in 2019, bringing with me a wealth of knowledge and expertise. I specialize in advanced highlighting and coloring techniques, as well as precision men’s cuts.
As an independent stylist at Kathryn Blaisdell studio, my goal is to invite you to a welcoming and relaxing environment where you can sit back, unwind, and leave with a look you love. Whether you’re after a subtle enhancement or a bold transformation, I’m here to make your hair dreams a reality.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me spending time with my dog, Gabbana, going out to brunch, or hitting the gym.
